MISTY MORGAN, ESQ.

Misty Morgan Vianna is a civil trial attorney who prepares complex personal injury, including medical malpractice and related wrongful death cases for trial. She also negotiates settlements, including the negotiation of multi-million dollar settlements. In addition to handling litigation and first-party property claims, she also serves as an adjunct professor of legal studies, Educational Doctoral Program at Florida Southern College in Lakeland.

Before joining Kemp, Ruge & Green, Ms. Vianna was a civil trial attorney representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex medical malpractice cases and personal injury matters. Ms. Vianna has represented clients in central Florida since 2012 as first-chair trial counsel, and in negotiations on multi-million dollar cases in circuit and appellate courts. Her experience also includes representing financial institutions on highly contested matters. Previously, she was managing attorney of a full-service financial institution and real estate law firm in Tampa. She has acquired substantial experience handling personal injury litigation, general civil litigation, as well as financial and business litigation.

Ms. Vianna received her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois in 2007 and a Master of Laws in Environmental Law and Policy from Florida State University College of Law in 2013. She earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Saint Leo University in Florida in 2001, graduating with a major in political science.

She serves as a member of the Arts and Sciences Advisory Council of Saint Leo University.

Ms. Vianna commenced her studies at the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland where she received the National Service Medal and Honorable Discharge in 1995. She is married and has a young son. In her spare time, Ms. Vianna enjoys spending time with her family and exploring this great state.
